When people visit your online forms, questionnaires and surveys, we send the form responses to you by e-mail. The e-mail you receive contains the names of the fields in the form, and their values. The Free Submit Service is currently included with your license for the SpreadsheetConverter program. We will contact you if one of your web forms generates form submissions exceeding what we consider fair use. We reserve the right to withdraw the free service at any time, giving six months’ notice. Using the service is very simple and it takes just minutes to get started. Follow these step-by-step instructions on how to create your first online form.

Spam filters and phishing blockers

When we deliver one of your web forms to you by e-mail, your form and the content added to it by one of your website visitors become the body of the e-mail. Not all web form content is suitable for e-mail delivery.

As an example, if one of your visitors enters typical spam text like “viagra” into a form, the corresponding e-mail may be blocked by a spam filter. You may bypass this blocking if you whitelist our sending e-mail address in your spam filters.

The e-mail will be sent from one of our e-mail servers. If the content of the form or its user-submitted data contains links to another website for images and background information but to a third domain for “action” links, it may look like an attempt to impersonate someone else’s website, a.k.a. phishing. Such e-mails are often blocked by Internet security software or e-mail clients like Google Mail. You may need to whitelist these e-mails also in your Internet security software.

When web forms are sent via e-mail, there is simply no way for us to guarantee that you get all the forms we send you. The content of your form and the text entered into it by your visitors will be scrutinized by various protection mechanisms that may decide to block the e-mail without warning. For business-critical applications, you may want to consider the Advanced Submit feature, which also saves all submitted forms securely in a database on our server. A simple login enables you to fetch all form submissions directly from the server, whether they also survived e-mail delivery or not.
